Great bagels start with great stories
Park Bagelry began with a simple mission: bring the world's best bagel traditions to Allston using the best ingredients we could find. What started as weekend taste-testing adventures became a year-long journey of perfecting recipes, lots of failures, learning and eating bagels.
The research that shaped our recipe
Our mission is to bring our best version of a bagel. That meant countless tests, many of which resulted in failures. In the end, we are beyond proud of the bagel that we created. Hand-shaped with care, cold-fermented overnight, and always naturally leavened.
Our bagels, while leavened with a sourdough starter, are balanced with maple syrup and whole wheat flour, offering a slightly sweet and well-rounded flavor with a crunch and chewiness that may leave you wanting a second or third bagel.
The team behind your bagels
Jennifer is the culinary visionary behind Park Bagelry and is obsessed with quality and strive towards perfection. She is also the culinary director behind cousin stores: Diesel, Bloc, and Forge. She dedicates her time to leadership development, innovation, and long-term business growth. A lover of food and community, Jennifer balances her work with volunteering and expanding her culinary expertise. She is a board member of Community Cooks and is always eager to talk to folks about the organization!
Tucker is the creative force and detail-oriented artist behind the unique aesthetic of Diesel, Bloc, and Forge’s spaces. A lifelong Cambridge resident, Tucker blends her love of art, carpentry, and community engagement with her role as a small business owner.
Court is a dynamic leader, trainer, and operations expert who rose from barista to CEO, fueled by a deep love for community-focused cafes. A lifelong coach and outdoor enthusiast, Court thrives on bringing people together– whether in the workplace, on the ultimate frisbee field, or in the woods.
